The school library plays a key role as a place for building confidence, encouraging innovation, curiosity, and problem solving. Each week, each child may choose a book to borrow from the library to take home. Parents are expected to read it to them and in turn, they are to share their ideas and interpretations about the story. Parent-child reading time will help stimulate their imagination and expand their understanding of the world. It also helps them develop language and listening skills and prepares them to understand the written word.
To keep the Library interesting and varied each child is encouraged make a donation of books to the library on their birthdays.
